I’m Susie Lowde the founder of SenseStory, and currently our team consists of me plus my patient family who let me test out my session ideas on them.

I’m a Dramatherapist registered with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) and I have 15 years of experience of working with children, young people and adults with a variety of learning, health, social and sensory needs in different settings.

I am also a Mummy to three little Lowdes, who are my inspiration.

I have always had a love of story and the way in which it can transport you to a different space and time. I am also extremely passionate about the creative arts, drama and theatre and run a drama group for adults who have learning disabilities in my spare time.

In SenseStory I have combined the skills and experience I have acquired as a Dramatherapist, with first hand experience of being a parent of young children to develop a programme of different services and sessions to aid in sensory development and personal growth, whilst having fun!

My qualifications and training enable me to develop our sessions and operate SenseStory in a safe and considerate way.

Qualifications:

* MA Dramatherapy – Registered with the HCPC

* BA (Hons) Drama, Physical Theatre and Dance

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care

Training Undertaken:

* Food Hygiene

I also hold an enhanced DBS and am fully insured.

If you have any questions about my background or qualifications then please get in touch using our Contact Us page.

I look forward to seeing you at one of our sessions soon.
